About Me!

My name is Emily Poeppelman and this will be my second year teaching 8th grade Math and Science at Banks Trail Middle School in Fort Mill, SC.  I graduated with honors from the University of Dayton in 2012 where I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Middle Childhood Education.  I am extremely excited for my second year at Banks Trail Middle School and helping students in every way that I can.  My philosophy of teaching and learning is to provide students with a safe environment and supply them with problem solving tools that will assist them in solving problems beyond the classroom.  I could not be more excited to continue my journey in receiving my masters of education in education leadership and technology from Lamar University.
